Looking for different ideas for a bridal shower
I'm throwing a bridal shower for my sister. She only has about 25 people or less to invite. Has anyone been to a "different" kind of shower? I originally thought of doing a cooking class, but it was just going to be too much per person. any ideas besides the norm?!

Re: Looking for different ideas for a bridal shower
We actually did a cooking class for my SIL. Had it at the house. How we saved? Had someone who sells Pampered Chef products come and do cooking. The woman teaches a cooking class at the local school and we talked her into doing a the shower (she had a lot of personality and fun) and all we had to do was buy some PC products. This way we didn't push the guests and PC products and the bride's gift were some PC my MIL and I bought for her.
She had guests come up and help out and had the finished products. So good and fun. We did some fun speeches, ate and opened gifts. Instead of games we set up a timer so if it went off when the bride was opening your gift you got a prize. Made everyone pay attention.

Maybe Paint & Sip?
My friend did this for her sister. They did wine glasses. They made 2 each. One for the bride and groom and one for themselves. It was about 10 people so worked out perfectly.

Re: Looking for different ideas for a bridal shower
I hosted a painting shower for my daughter-in-law. It was a small shower with about 20 people. We did the painting on a pair of handled mason jars. I had someone come in to do the painting instructions like you would have if you went to one of the paint and sip events. I also did a wine and cheese tasting with it. It was a lot of fun!

I went to one that was a karaoke party. It was fun and definitely different.
