After flu- help!
I really thought I was over it. I even went out with DD Saturday and was ok, but exhausted when I got home. I thought I definitely overdid it, took a nap. Woke up with fever and chills with no voice! This morning, more of the same but I was so nauseous alllll day. I was thirsty, so I drank lots of seltzer and water, but at nothing. Tonight, starting at 8, vomiting and diarrhea. Till 2am. I am so weak!
Is this part of the flu, or did I pick something up yesterday due to low resistance?  so sick!

This is probably something different. The only vomiting I had was from coughing too much.

After flu- help!
I think they say if you get better and then sick again to get checked out. Persistent vomiting is another symptom they say to see your doctor for. You definitely could have picked up something else but I would probably see a doctor today too be safe. Feel better!

Sounds like you picked up a stomach bug. Your resistance is low after the flu so it's easy to pick up something else.

After flu- help!
Go to the doctor. The flu can cause dehydration or even settle in as pneumonia. My dads pneumonia started with diarrhea. Better be safe than sorry.

After flu- help!
Definitely go to the Dr. Not to scare you, but I saw something on TV over the weekend (and sorry, I don't remember the details) about how that can happen with the flu (seems better and then symptoms return) and that it can be very serious when that happens. Hope you feel better soon!

I did the same thing. I went back to work and then that night I was down for the count. The next morning I woke up with a bad cold. I think my body was just run down and I couldn't fight off the next bug. Feel better!

After flu- help!
When DH had the flu a few years ago, he had pink eye and a stomach bug (which I wound up catching) right after.
