How much should I give my 4 year old? She loves books but I feel like I’m overrun by books. Is $10 enough?

Re: Book fair

Yes that should be fine.
I usually give DD between $10 and $20 but
the problem is, DD comes home from the book fair with all sorts of junk - like braclets ,erasers, keychains. And like one book.
I tell her I am giving her the money to buy books, not little chatskis!

My kids school is hosting the book fair next week. I will probably send my 1st grader in with $20, and my Pre-k DS with $15.

I would send $20, only because many of the hardcover picture books are $17.99.

Thanks. Dh said $20. She’s usually really good and brings home change. We shall see.

$10 is fine...my DD knows how to bargain hunt like her mom! She knows the paperbacks will give her more bang for her buck.
