Mattress Topper

Does everyone use a Mattress Topper like a down alternative or goosedown? how do you like it?

Bored today - curious what others do. We just bought a new Mattress (comes on Sunday). Its a hybrid, so half memory foam on top and inner springs like a traditional mattress. My husband has a really bad back so hoping this mattess since its a bit firmer will help - but I loooove soft fluffy mattresses, but he doesnt So Im wondering if I should get a down alternative mattress topper to make it fluffier for me..

We went from a double pillow top to a hybrid just last week. Same situation, my DH wanted a firm, I like softer but to be honest so far I am loving it. We def have to break it in, but I never thought I would like such a firm mattress & I don't think I have slept better.

I will say, I did invest in an expensive feather down pillow that helped also.
