Anniversary in April- Ideas
I know this has been asked a million times, but looking for ideas on fun ways to spend anni w out breaking the bank
Has to be a day trip w out any sleepovers.
Our anni is 4/21, so we were thinking of doing something during the day on that sunday ( Hubby works on saturdays)
*He is not into winniers etc
*Was looking into a play, but no clue what is fun
and good out there
* We did the NYC tour scene already

What do you both like to do together? Markets? It’s springtime, so it may be nice weather.

Are you into spa days? My DH is totally not and never gets a couples massage or anything like that, but I know my friends' DH's do.
So maybe something like spa treatments out at East Wind, and then you could poke around the Shoppes at East Wind, have a nice lunch or dinner out. Or you said no wineries, but there are breweries out east, too.
Or my friend just did the Garden City Hotel for her birthday with her DH. They got couples massages at the new Red Door there and ate at the Polo Lounge.
Or a play in the city and a nice boozy brunch before? DH and I may do that next month for my birthday -- thinking of The Bronx Tale (DH's choice) or maybe Book of Mormon (if you are into funny/irreverent).

Last April for our anniversary we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, had lunch at Grimaldis and hung out in the DUMBO area. Then walked to The Chocolate Room for dessert. It was a lot of walking but a very nice day. If you want to see a show, Waitress is a lot of fun.

A Bronx Tale was a fabulous Broadway show if you are looking for a play to see.

Bronx Tale - never saw this one, but heard good things
Then dinner by there. If you like beer we always love Heartland Brewery
You can do a spa, but I personally find couple massage weird. You are just in the same room and that's it. I just like my own time with massage
Maybe drinks and dinner down the shore and walking the boardwalk
AC for the day
