I use the Crane Tear Drop one for myself at night and haven't had any issues with it.
It puts out a good amount of vapor

We just replaced one of ours with this one. Vicks. I really like that it has a dial to adjust rather than just one or two settings. The tank is also big enough that we don't have to refill it daily.

We hav one very similar with the dial for my DD. Got it at Target.

Yes my crane has a dial too- it's definitely a nicer feature than just high or low
