another birthday party question
dont laugh at me but...
does anyone still do the mcdonalds indoor play area birthday parties?
i dont want to do anything crazy for DS this year because
- doing an early party and going to be 34 ish wk pg
- saving $ to do more trips this summer
- very little time to plan!
this is what we all did as kids right... LOL
If so which ones (eastern suffolk) would you recommend? i've never been to any.

I don't know but my DD would love a party like that.
She loves McD's food and their play areas are fun.
I say go for it!
Sorry I don't have any recs on locations though.

I remember those as a kid. Loved them.
I don't know where there is a McDonald's with a play area, but my DS would love to get invited to a McDonald's party.

The McDonalds in Centereach on Middle Country Road has a large play area. I see birthday parties there all the time.

I didn't know that people don't do this anymore! That's were everybody had parties when I was a kid! I think there is one in Hicksville near the mall, at least there was, that had a big play area.

another birthday party question
My son is now almost 19, but he had a party at McDonald's when he was like 6! They all had fun! They did face painting, played games, etc. This was at the Centereach location. It's DIRT cheap! Or was back then!

The one in Hicksville has b-day parties. The issue is, the play area is open to the public during parties and they have multiple parties going on at a time. The food is in it's own separate room.

Are McDonald's parties on the outs? I wouldn't think twice about taking DD to one, of course we'd go.
