Another spin off -- DH who have had vasectomy
My DH is being a huge baby about getting a vasectomy. He is definitely afraid.
If your DH had one did he say if it was painful, how was his recovery? Is he glad he did it?

Mine had his about a year ago. He is a tremendous baby. The procedure went well and was quick. He had the procedure on a Friday and was back to work on Monday. The recovery was fine. He just iced a lot.

My DH had it done about a year ago.. he had it done on Thursday and went back to work on Friday. He was fine, he iced it the first day and then was back to normal the next day.

Same here.
Same here. Bags of frozen peas were his go to ice packs.

Took 2 years to finally convince my husband to have one. He was totally fine. Iced I.T for two days and was as good as new

DH was back to work the next day, BUT he complained for MONTHS post op about soreness. Probably around 6 months or so and when asked he said he wouldn't do it again. For the record, it was his decision to do it.

My friend’s husband has said something similar (but not for 6 months)-probably like 2 months. This has completely scarred DH and now he refuses to even consider it. I said let’s just talk to the dr. He won’t even go for the consult.

My DH was a big baby about the whole thing and laid around “recovering” for like a week after he had it done. Maybe it was painful for him, but I had a hard time mustering up much sympathy for him.

Dh did it and said it was not a big deal at all. He said the anticipation of it was much, much worse than the actual procedure. He came home and "recovered" afterward but was really totally fine and went to work the next day.
