German immigrants

Where can i read about non-jewish German immigration to the US in the late 40s or 50s? The population im talking about would be in their 90s now and possibly worked for nazis during holocost...

Any stories or interviews i can get a hold of?

Re: German immigrants

I’d look into contacting the Pennsylvania Dutch community or somewhere in Wisconsin or Michigan. You could check census reports as well. A lot ran away to South America.

SusiBee would have more info.

Re: German immigrants

That is kind of hard to find out. Many party members who fled Germany changed their names to avoid prosecution. Many fled to South America, Argentina and Brazil have large German enclaves.
Not everyone who worked for the Nazi party was a Nazi. It was a matter of survival. My parents rarely spoke of the war.
