Have you ever been banned from a Facebook group?
I was recently removed from a Facebook page. I am not someone who gets confrontational, rude, or break rules especially online. But I called out an admin for her rude comments and she ended up removing me from the page. I was going to say ‘bye Felicia’ (because I have always wanted to say it but never do as I try to be civil) and leave the group myself but I was little late. You would think admins/ moderators have some sense and can be civil but this person was so touchy and I am glad not to be part of the group anymore. Another reason I should leave Facebook but I do find it useful some times.

Was it the “honest reviews” FB group? I feel like they are always removing people from the group. You can’t disagfee w an admin. The group kinda sucks too lol

No, but I do I belong to a few "town" FB pages. And some Admins don't think twice about removing people if the post turns nasty or antagonistic.
Although some that should be removed, aren't. So who knows the logic? There are Admins that also consider themselves "high and mighty". Sometimes its obvious.

YES!!! I can't stand the admins of this group. People bash businesses left and right on there and half the time they aren't even valid. The head person in the group doesn't seem to understand the difference between a real review and someone who is obviously just annoyed at the world lol

I was banned from a Disney boutique clothing group years ago. The admin didn't like that I was leaving an honest review about someone I purchased from on Etsy. She was definitely on a power trip like so many of the admins of these groups are!

A friend of mine was banned from a Disney planning group, because the admin of the group is a travel agent and my friend recently became one as well, so the admin thought she was going to steal her business and removed her

No, it wasn’t that group. It’s a different group where someone asked for ideas about food choices and I made a suggestion. One of the moderators commented “barf, why? “ to my suggestion. I said that as a moderator, she should be promoting a healthy environment and that comment wasn’t appropriate and that there was no need to say “barf” because she didn’t like what I suggested. We went back and forth couple of times. She didn’t like that I put her on the spot and deleted our conversation from the post and I was removed from the group. Some admins/moderators need to realize that they are nobody without members and not go on power trips.

Admins on Facebook groups are the worst. I’ve left numerious groups because i cannot stand the “its my group” attitudes. The moms groups are the worst. You can’t ever disagree

Yes, from a breastfeeding support group after I had the audacity to comment to a mother who was struggling with PPD and having trouble breastfeeding that supplementing is not the worse thing in the world. I didn't tell her to stop breastfeeding, I said her sanity was more important than anything and shared that I supplemented with formula for a week to get myself together and went back to exclusively breastfeeding and lasted over a year. I must be the devil.

Exactly. I can’t see not feeding my kid because it’s not beast milk! They need to eat. These moms are nuts
