Random-ness

The weirdest things have been happening lately. Got an email form Kohl’s that my account was locked and I had to re-set my password. Deleted that. Got a text from someone I’ve never heard of that they need my email address. Deleted that too. Got an email from PayPal bay there was a $59 dollar purchase made. Denied that

I checked all my accounts and everything seems normal

Anyone else deal with this?

Yup. Happening a lot lately. I even got the call that there were multiple warrants out for my arrest and I needed to wire money blah blah blah

I am constantly getting the emails from “iTunes” saying a purchase for $495 for some aerobic exercise thing blah blah blah. I checked directly w itunes. Nothing. Whenever I get those calls, I hang up and call the companies direct. This week I got a call from Newsday. The recording said I needed to update my credit card info or my service would be canceled. said to hold while i was bring connected. I hung up and told my husband who said “oh yea, that may actually be true. My card was hacked and I got a new one”. So I called Newsday and they legit needed new card info lol. Better to be safe than sorry.

Oh and my DH gets a call about every other day with some guy who says he’s with the electric company and the power will be turned off within an hour unless we wire money. I got the call there this week. I told him to shut the f$cking power lol

I got an email from Chase fraud dept today. Someone must have skimmed my card and been charging lyft rides all over San Francisco. Sucks.

Nothing credit card related, but I got a call on my cell the other day. Didn't recognize the number, but I have a lot going on right now, so I answered - guy on the other end says, "I just got a call from this number, so I'm calling back." I definitely had not called him, so don't know if this was some kind of scam or what, but he seemed just as surprised as I did

I got an email that my kohls account was locked too. I didnt click on any links, but when I went to my kohls account, It wouldnt let me log in. so I reset the password through the site, not through the original email and changed it.

Got an email saying the paypal account was locked.


My cell number starts with 297. I have been getting telemarketers that call in with a 297 number but when i call the number back It goes to people that say they never called me. Its weird.
