stomach pain, but no puking??
any ideas? DS is 7. on saturday, he had been playing out in the snow with his 4 year old brother. Then a little while after the came in, DS7 started getting teary and saying it hurt near his belly button :-/ he has no fever, hasn't vomited- had a little diarrhea, but nothing crazy. but it seems to come and go. he'll be saying it really hurts, then a little while later he's like "oh- i feel better". Tylenol seems to help. I took him to a PM Pediatrics place last night and the dr there couldn't feel or hear anything abnormal (nothing swollen or anything...) SO i'm wondering if he pulled a muscle while he was wrestling around with his brother in the snow?? but he's complaining about it a lot-- is he just being drammatic?? LOL i sent him to school today, but he made me feel bad about it HAHA Any other ideas??

Re: stomach pain, but no puking??
DD has this every single morning. I posted about it a week or so back. I think it's probably gas. Gas pain moves around, comes and goes, etc

definitely not as much as usual... but it comes and goes too. Like yesterday, he ate all his lunch, but then at dinner was kind of just sitting there not eating much, saying he was tired. didn't finish all his breakfast this AM either...

Re: stomach pain, but no puking??
There has been a mild virus going around, mostly diarrhea. I know at least a dozen people who have had it in the last 2 weeks

stomach pain, but no puking??
my 3 year old just had this yesterday! we were preparing to take him to PM pediatrics and the he started to feel better. my MIL said sometimes kids can get a stomach pain when they are about to get sick / virus. he seems fine otherwise so i don't know if this is the case. we've never had this before and i have 3 boys. i wonder if something is going around? he had a stomach flu 2 weeks ago so hopefully it's not another one!

When dd1 was younger she often got a stomach ache and threw up at the start of a virus. At the start of strep, coxsacky, generic viruses. She'd usually be fine for half a day or so and then the fever or whatever else would hit.
That said, there's a lot of stomach viruses going around right night. Dd was moaning and nauseous for a few hours yesterday morning, finally threw up once around 10am, napped, and then was jumping all over and fine.
