How is parking at Deer Park LIRR?

How is parking at Deer Park LIRR?
Seems like this is one of the few stations that has free parking. Are the lots there jammed during the week?

How is parking at Deer Park LIRR?
After a certain time (not sure how early), it is very difficult to find a spot there. About 4 times a year I have to travel to the city for work at off times and it can be a nightmare. Because of that, I usually take Uber to the train station. A few weeks ago I decided to drive and had to park down a side street in the industrial park. It wasn't bad during the day, but I was not too happy when I had to walk to my car in the dark - it was very isolated and pretty scary

Ronkonkoma is also free but after around 7 am it is also a nightmare to find parking and you have to walk like a mile.
They do have a paid lot that is only $5 which is another option.
Not sure how early that gets filled up

Earlier you get there in the morning the better. I took a 7:47am train a couple weeks ago and parking was slim...luckily there was still a few in the back, the last row in the lot. I would say any trains after 8...you wouldn't be able to park.
