We decided not to exchange this year DH and I because it's kind of pointless- we share money so it's like he is buying his gifts with his own money and vice versa.
This has made life SO much easier and cheaper for us.

But in the past I would ask for clothes I wanted, shoes, perfume, make up, etc

We booked a cruise for ourselves for June.

I don't want a present from DH. I already got another wedding band this year, so I really don't want anything else.
I might get him a something to put under our tree, just not sure what yet.

We went to a show last week and said that was our present. I got him one of those mini Nintendo consoles that he wanted. As for me, I am not sure.

dh wanted a smart thermostat and I wanted P!NK tickets to go with a couple of friends..

The list that I gave everything (siblings, parents, etc) was:
slippers
a couple of long pendant necklaces
gift cards (amazon, zara, trader joe's)
a cordless hand vacuum so i don't need to use the giant one every time
an adjustable shredded bamboo pillow
an anti-frizz hair towel
a new hamper
