It's snowing!
I mean, I could probably catch every snowflake that is falling in my yard before it hits the ground, but it's still technically snowing in Ronkonkoma....
It's too early for that!

It was snowing a lot on my way to queens. Teeny tiny snowflakes that melted on the windshield but lots of them.

Snowed enough in Northern Nassau for everyone to shout, "It's snowing!" I think it's ominous for the winter ahead when I spot snowflakes this early!

Saw a decent amount of flake falling and dancing across the road. Nothing sticking of course....soon enough I'm sure

Yup, that's what I said. We were taking DD out of the car in Queens at my mom's right around that time and she even looked like WTF?  But we told her it was snow and she got excited. She's into Frozen at the moment.

It snowed one year around Halloween, (enough to accumulate a little) so it's not too early in reality.
I was talking to a mom at a birthday party around Halloween and her daughter was also born around Halloween and she said that she remembers waking up the morning after giving birth and seeing it snowing like crazy outside her window and thinking- Damn they must have given me some really good drugs!!
Then her DH came up and was like no, you aren't high, it's really snowing!

I remember that!! It was about a week before Halloween and we couldn't believe it!!............it was actually a few inches that stuck too!! I remember a Thanksgiving years and years ago (when I was a kid) where it snowed a lot as well. It really isn't too early, especially if we get some of these really cold snaps like a week or two ago when the highs were in the 30's. No complaints here though, I love the snow!

It was 2011. I brought my son home from the hospital during that "snowstorm" after a 7 week NICU stay. It will forever be etched in my memory.
The following year same weekend was Sandy.
And it has been crappy weather every weekend since.
