Tell me about the best holiday photo card you've ever gotten
My kids are getting older (7 and 4) so the days of sweet chubby little babies on our photo cards are done. I'm looking to do something clever with them but can't think of anything unique, a Google search was fruitless.
Have you ever gotten a photo card that really made you smile? Even giggle a little?
Would love some new ideas!

I find I sometimes get good ideas from browsing through the sample cards on Shutterfly, Minted, etc. Sometimes they have some clever set ups and wording that are pretty cute/funny. Maybe go through some photo card sites for ideas

Candid pictures of the kids baking christmas cookies reflection in a shiny xmas ornament...
My husbands boss would do funny ones every year until the kids were grown and moved out...one was "find the XXX's" and they would all be hiding somewhere on the front lawn - his boss actually climbed up on the roof and all you could see was head on top of the chimney, lol. It was cute.

Re: Tell me about the best holiday photo card you've ever gotten
we did a goofy pic last year that we ended up really liking and may make that our card tradition moving forward.. whenever we need DS to take a nice picture, we have to bribe him by letting him take a goofy pic as well - and we all liked the goofy one better.
some older relatives gave us grief, but we didn't really care

Last year, our card had a main photo of DD. But the other photo we did from a screen shot of us from the Elf Yourself app. Basically, It was just our faces in the Elf body. It was smaller, so not everyone really noticed It, but it was funny.

I think 7 and 4 are still little! In my opinion a regular photo is perfectly fine.

I agree, they're still young to do a cute holiday photo. Or you can have the 7 year old "decorate" the four year old like a tree...and have the photo of him/her placing a star on the head lol you can hang ornaments from the shirt & pants & wrap garland around him/her!
