The correct Italian way is Guyda...that doesn't mean that the Dr. says it that way...just like Teresa Guidice does not say her name correctly on RHNJ, even though you know personally they do.

Could be either. The allergist I see is Gwee-da and we went to an eye doctor who was Guy-da.
