Mason jar wedding favor ideas

Looking for ideas of what to put in mason jars as a wedding favor. It will be the month of December. Edible & non edible ideas. So far I was thinking of hot cocoa with a layer of chocolate chips & a layer of mini marshmallows. The room has a bit of a vintage feel, so I thought mason jars would look nice & they're useful...right? Lol

yes, they would make a nice favor

What about filling them with different types of corn kernels, red, yellow, purple. You can add a flavor pack ??

A note attached thanking them for attending and some ideas on cooking or flavors

adding, you can fill with M&M, Swedish fish or similar candy, perhaps in you color theme

Love the idea of a mason jar. Hersey kisses, trail mix, coffee, or a potpourri would be nice.

Candy is a good idea, and easier to do than the cocoa lol. I'm pretty sure our colors will be light blue & light green.

My friends did a soup mix in a mason jar, with cooking instructions on a tag for a winter wedding.
It was super cute, but really time consuming to make the layers in the jar.

You could also do a couple layers or colored m&m's and top with hershey kisses to fill.

I love Mason Jar favors - something edible is always the way to go.

We made one with chocolate chip cookie mix for my cousins shower.

IMO anthing that have to be made will probably not be used.

I would do something edible.

I love cupcakes in a jar. I make them for xmas for my coworkers and for the people at daycare!

Is it a small cupcake? How do you get it in the jar...or take it out without making a mess of the frosting? I love cupcakes, so I like this idea, but not sure how to execute.

Cupcake in a jar is an actual product, where a pre-made cupcake is in a mason jar.

yes you eat it with a spoon. I bought wooden ones on year. When I make them I make regular cupcakes then with gloves cut them in half put one half in then frosting then put another half in them frosting again.

You can also bake the cupcake right in the jar.
