Can I avoid Ticketmaster fees if I buy direct from venue
Ticketmaster fees are absolutely outrageous for nothing!! I print the darn tickets at home using my own expensive printer ink!
Anyway- If I go right to the venue (i.e.- Coliseum in Uniondale) can I buy tickets for the event and not pay all of those fees?

Check the venue's website for box office hours etc

The venue may charge their own (different) fees.
Probably best to call the venue directly.

Most of the time, yes. You may end up paying a "facility fee" but that would have been added to the Ticketmaster purchase as well.
Sometimes box offices don't sell tickets for an event on the same day as the Ticketmaster on sale, and will sell remaining tickets starting the next day, just so you know.

YES! The facility fees aren't half of Ticketmaster, they are insane!
