How to get Healthcare not provided by an employer
If you have healthcare not provided by an employer, how did you research the best plan?
Are there Health Insurance Brokers that do this?

He’s great. Very knowledgeable. We use him for health insurance and all finances as well. Great team

How to get Healthcare not provided by an employer
Initially I went directly to the health insurance company’s websites and looked at the plans. I also consulted a broker but he did not add much information. Unfortunately in NYS there are not many choices for private policies left. CareConnect was a great option but they are going out of business at the end of the year.
I am currently looking for new insurance since we have a private policy with CareConnect and I think we are going to go through the NY health exchange for next year.

I used James Eckardt with Peak Advisors. Very knowledgeable and patient.
Peak Advisors
I am also with Care Connect so will be shopping for new insurance again soon.
