Child Flu Shot at a Store
Has anyone taken their child to a store (Target, CVS, etc) to get the flu shot instead of taking them to the pediatrician? I plan on getting mine at a store and thought it would be easier to do that for my son as well.

I have asked the pharmacist at CVS and Target in the past and both have said they do not give the flu shot to children. I always have had to take her to the ped.

The child i believe has to be at least 5. I think. I was going to take my son but said they wont do it on children below age 5. It was rite aide

I think this is true. I remember seeing something about it at CVS or on their website.
They will do children but not babies/toddlers/anyone under 5

Child Flu Shot at a Store
The CVS site said 18 months and older.
Luckily, I was able to get an early appointment at the pediatrician for Saturday due to a cancellation. I just didn't want to have to wait until November.

My sister used to give flu shots at a pharmacy...
Just go to a ped.
