What was your favorite Halloween costume?

For this thread, it's a costume that either you, or someone in your immediate family wore (SO, DC, etc).

My favorite one that I wore was when tablets were still not ubiquitous.

I had a cardboard box made up to look like a wood stove, and I had a 10" tablet in the stove "window" playing a clip of a fire. It looked like an actual pot-belly stove with a real fire.

My favorite was the evil Queen from Snow White, complete with poisoned apple and a jeweled mirror. Made the costume myself.

For one party, I dressed DH one year as Uncle Fester, including the light bulb that actually lit up.
I went as Wednesday Addams, felt bad ripping the head off of a doll.

What was your favorite Halloween costume?

Last year my not quite 2yo was BB8. We covered a beach ball with paper mache and dh made some vinyl decals. Topped her off with a bb8 bike helmet and it was perfect. I couldn't believe she was actually willing to walk around in it lol. My older one was Ray and we had Darth Vader, Leia, and Chewbacca in the entourage.

I was David Bowie in his Aladdin Sane era (the lightning bolt face makeup - iconic) -- that was a lot of fun.

I was Zorro one Halloween when I was a kid...I was obsessed with Zorro and thought that it was the coolest costume ever but none of my peers got the reference. I'm an old soul, what can I say...it was still the coolest costume ever haha

What was your favorite Halloween costume?

My Snow White costume that my great-Aunt made me when I was in 7th grade. It's a beautiful costume and it still fits me. I have worn it numerous times as an adult and have lent it out to people too.

Jon Bon Jovi, I was in 8th grade and I won the costume contest at my MS dance, lol! We also did a lip-sync battle at the dance... it still puts a smile on my face!

i don't remember how old i was, but one year i wanted to be a "woman." i just wanted to dress like a grown up.

my mom kept saying that "mujer" sounded vulgar and i was going as a "gitana"... a gypsy. lol

so i wore my mom's clothes, all her bangle bracelets, all her costume jewelry that fit on my little body, i wore makeup out to here, and a pair of her high heels.

i loved every second of it. i never once complained about the high heels. i did ALL the ToTing in those darn things and was so happy.

to think... i hate wearing makeup and high heels now lol

From when I was a kid- Scarlett O'Hara. I thought it was such a pretty dress and my moms maiden name was O'Hara, somehow that made me feel so awesome lol.

Favorite kids costume is what my DS2 is being this Halloween- boss baby, I can't wait!

Favorite couples costume is what DH and I are this year (we went to a Halloween party last weekend) he's squints and I'm Wendy peppercorn, it was a big hit and so easy hah.

When I was a kid I went to my first Halloween party with my friends

My mom made me pippi longstocking

We sprayed my hair red. But the coolest part was she braided my hair with prices of wire hanger

So all she had to do was bend my hair and it stayed
