Anyone been to London & Paris lately
Just booked a 10 day trip with my hubby, toddler and sil...I have never been so I am excited to go and see the sights but nervous because I know my ds will not enjoy the museums as much.
Any must sees?

hi Cindy, toddler is tough but depends how laid back your kid is :) I came back a few weeks ago:
- Arc De Triomphe- there's a viewing platform on top that's very cool -Champ de Mar -Pompidou Center- this is very toddler friendly -Walk along the Siene River -Montmartre and Sacre-Coeur (climb to the top), not ideal with toddler -Trocadero, beautiful view of the Eiffel tower - Galeries Lafayette Haussmann (expensive but amazing shopping!, even if just to look around) -Notre Dame de Paris (a must) -Eiffel Tower- another must! -Orsay Museum- loved this -Louvre- pick a section you want to cover as it is massive -Rodin Museum- I am a fan of Rodin but may not go if I had my daughter with me -Moulin Rouge- fun to walk around, shows are adults only and while we went I wasn't super impressed -Jardins des Tuileries
Transportation (metro) is super easy, accessible and affordable but it is a large city with a lot of ground to cover.
I know there's Disney there somewhere but I didn't do any research on that!

I just got back from Paris. I agree with the above poster. We did do Disney Paris one day to break up all the museums. It was fun. It's not crazy over the top with Disney stuff like Disneyland here is. I found it was more like a big amusement park with Disney accents. Lol. We went on a Sunday and there were no lines. It was awesome to go on a ride over and over. It is a bit from Paris. Took an hour by metro and transfer to train.

Re: Anyone been to London & Paris lately
We did London and Paris in April of this year (8 days). We really squeezed a ton over that week and change. London - you can do those Trolley tours which drive you all over the place - we did Buckinham Palace (saw changing of the guard), and Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge (these are several hours away from London but well worth the trip!).
As for Paris - besides the usual places (Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Monrmartre) I highly recommend Versailles as a day trip (squeeze in Petit Trianon if you can). There is a bus tour that takes you all over Paris and you can just hop on/off.
