Supplementing a nighttime feeding...
... so mommy can hopefully sleep a bit longer. I EBF but have been stalling on trying to supplement with a bottle of formula at night to see if Connor will sleep for a longer period of time? Does anyone else do this that BF?

04bride...
What do you do since you don't nurse? Do you pump or do you not worry about it until the morning? Thanks!

Re: Supplementing a nighttime feeding...
I have stopped feeding on demand and started nursing every 2.5-3.5hrs (depending on what is going on) during the day and DD has been giving me 6-8hrs stretches at night. She's 8wks old.

Re: Supplementing a nighttime feeding...
I am thinking of starting this to only b/c I want to give some formula when I go back to work. It will be impossible for me to pump all the milk she needs throughout the day while I am at work.
Is it ok to do both, do they get confused with the "taste" first I have to get her used to the bottle.
