restaurant/bar in farmindale that takes reservations for 12-16 people
Dh's birthday is in a couple of weeks and he wanted to be a kid again and do go karting lol... there's a place in farmingdale that we're going to, but we all want to go out to eat afterwards. Any recommendations for a place that takes reservations (12-16 people), and has a bar? Was thinking maybe The Main Event

I'd look into Palmer's American Grille (on the corner of Merritt and Hempstead Tpke).
ETA - Maybe Black Forest Brew Haus, too (never been there but it looks fun, especially with a beer-loving crew)

So the library cafe was my first thought, but for a group that large I wasn't sure how it would work out, plus parking is a little tough there if I remember correctly- the main event is more of like a bar scene right?

Library is small. You would need to reserve the space for the party area I think. Main event is a restaurant/bar. It's huge so you could get a large table. IMO the Meetball place is a hot mess. Their service is horrible and would be worse with a late group in the weekend and the food is ehh at best. Also parking in the village can be tough on weekends.

I went to 2 event here and the food was good, they can also block off an area with a pull down shade which offers privacy.
there is a steak house On main st in Farmingdale but I cant remember the name

Yep columbus weekend. Good point we will go with main event then. I believe they take reservations too
