Toddler Christmas dresses

Ok so I know I'm early but we're taking Christmas pics next month. Any suggestions for where to find a dress? Online only and no carters, Gymboree, CP. I feel like nothing is out yet and while I LOVE the Janie and jack dresses I just can't justify $300 on dress and accessories esp since I put her in a different dress for pictures and Christmas.

TIA

Re: Toddler Christmas dresses

Is there a specific look you're going for? The Pippa and Julie website has some gorgeous dresses (more classic girl full skirts, a-line, tutu), and they have some of last years holidayish dresses on sale (haven't come out with this years yet). Gap has a nice sweater dress if you're looking for casual. Old Navy has an ivory/gold print ethereal looking dress. Lol, can you tell I've been stalking the sites as well?!

I also want to add that I usually end up with Janie and jack dresses, and likely will again this year. They usually do a friends and family 20% off the first weekend of October. And if you pair with tights and a cardigan from target or somewhere it's not too bad. Not sure what size your as is, but their sizing is big, so you may be able to find a baby girl dress which are priced less and she can fit into 24 mos.

I can't believe I didn't know about pippa and Julie! This stuff is adorable. Nothing Christmassy but now I know to look for other occasions. Thanks!

Check out Amazon for Pippa and Julie. They seem to be cheaper there than Bloomingdales. Also, I've noticed a price difference if you order 24mo vs. 2T with that brand (and fit is relatively the same).

How much do you end up getting the dresses for? I looked one year and I think the dresses were around $175.

I always get mine at Macy's but dd wanted to match her newborn sister this year so we ended up at Carter's.

Are you looking at the special occasion dresses or the regular dresses? The regular ones are usually around $99, minus 20% so about $80. At most, I'll buy the color-matching headband and then get cheap tights/cardigan elsewhere. They also have an outlet in deer park tanger where non-sale items are generally 20% off.

I think they were solid dresses - maybe in green, red or blue and they might have been silk. Was a long time ago and I said nope, not spending $175 for a holiday dress, lol.

Re: Toddler Christmas dresses

You were probably looking at their special occasion line if it was silk and that price point. Definitely look at their regular connections!

Recent discovery for me too! Amazon has some but not all of their collection. And the company seems great. You earn loyalty points, they have a dress recycling program, and also have something posted about encouragement of transgender youth dressing how they want as well. Overall, some very cool stuff.
