I need help with dd's hair!

My poor dd2 - first when she was born, everyone thought she was a boy! Now, she's 20 months and her hair is growing in very fine and straight, and just grows FORWARD. no matter what I do, I can't establish a part and I can't get her bangs to frame to the side. Even when I give her bangs a trim so they hit at the brow, when you look at her, all you see is forward-growing hair, and not her beautiful face. Any thoughts on how I can train her hair?!?!

Dd didn't have hair until 2 or so. Bows on headbands every day, and now I clip them in daily lol

My girls' hair grows this way too. My 5yo is worse than my 2yo even now with super long hair. She's learned to push it back but naturally it just falls straight forward. I part it on the side and always have to pull it back into some kind of ponytail or clip. My 2yo I usually just part it on the side and add a clip to keep it out of her face. I bought some cheap bows with alligator clips on Amazon. It was 20 colors for around $5 so I have something to match any outfit and they stay really well. I would also get the scunci girl polybands for a small top ponytail. Those are perfect for fine toddler hair.

My daughter is 3 and we have the same issues. It's super fine, straight, and grows forward and she has a crazy cowlick. For the past 2 years she has been naturally pushing her hair out of her eyes (I'm not a fan of bangs & never want her to have them so we've been growing them out since she got hair) from right to left but the cowlick is on the left so it looks crazy. I am constantly parting her hair on the left, in line with the cowlick, and sweeping it right to try and train it but she just pushes it back the other way lol. For school and when we go out, her hair is almost always in a pony tail. If it is down, I clip it on the right.

My dd has had bangs for years bc her hair also naturally grows forward in the front. A little after she turned 4 she decided she wanted to grow her bangs out. I started clipping them back with little pretty clips, but she always took the clips out and ended up with her bangs all over her face, blocking her eyes. Now it's been almost a year and her bangs still haven't fully grown out yet, they come to about the tip of her nose, so still a while to go, probably about another year! But recently she started getting into wearing headbands which seem to do a bit of a better job of keeping her hair off her face. And I noticed that some days she'll put a headband on right after her shower, when her hair is wet, and after her hair dries it's kind of "set back off her face from the headband keeping it back while it was drying.

When it's wet I'd make a part and clip it to the side to force the hair in that direction. Supposedly if you keep doing this it trains the hair to go that way. Lol She's adorable no matter which way her hair is going :)

Thanks! Her part keeps changing sides too, even when I try to force it one way! Morning, left, afternoon right, back to the left.... it's hysterical....

do pigtails daily...in about a month the part should be set and you can then start to leave it down
Spray it with a little water before doing it, makes it easier to make the part and also holds better. I try to avoid gel in dd's hair bc we do not wash it daily
