we just went to a party for twin 6 year old girls and i just got them American Girl gift cards. they might want the same thing or they might want similar things. you could also check with the mom.

I'd get them board games they can play together or an assortment of craft kits that they can each contribute to.

My DD loves crafts. And gift cards are great too (Target, Barnes & Noble, Adventureland, movie theaters)

Good gift for a 6 year old girl?
Michaels has a whole bunch of clearanced crafts. They are on the bottom shelves. I got $60 worth of crafts for $25. I split the items between 2 birthdays.
