Ours crapped out on us. We had the Maytag Bravo top loader. It died 4 months after the 5 year warranty.

Please recommend yours. I don't think i want a front loader. I'd like to stick with the top loader. Chat Icon

Re: recommend your washing machine

I have the Samsung washer and dryer. 2 years old and I do not recommend.

Already a recall/repair needed on washer. It also sometimes "sticks" and repeats the rinse/spin cycle over and over until I manually override it.

The dryer just blew a belt after a load of towels. PC replaced no prob with warranty but I was still mad since it's only 2 years old!

Speedqueen. I don't even own one, but my MIL does. DH got us a top load GE 4.6 cubic (I think) with no agitator, and it sprkinkles the water in. Even with deep fill and extra rinse, the clothes do not come out clean and they reek of detergent/fabric softener. DH thinks it's awesome. He inherited laundry duty, and there have been times when I go to mom's to do heavily soiled clothes.
The only positive is that I can fit a Queen sized comforter and sheets in there with no problem.

Had mine for almost 5 years. Recently had to replace a belt, but that was minor and I have no complaints. It's huge and can handle any load of laundry.

i

Another Whirlpool Cabrio top loader user for the last 9 years and going strong. I only had to make one repair which was a broken belt I think. I can't remember, but I do know that it was cheaper to fix it then trash it.

I have this one from LG for 4 years now. Its a large capacity one with 6 people in the house and 3 dogs it gets a lot of use. I have had no issues with it.

We have the Amana top load washer from home depot. We bought it when we moved in because the others needed to be replaced, and didn't want to spend a fortune so it was cheapest one for sale (only $299). We've had it for 4 years and haven't had any issues at all so far, lol
