Invitation - 2nd birthday, no gifts .. help!
I need some ideas.
My daughter will still get gifts from the grandparents and us. I have a lot of family coming and what I've always wanted is to donate each year for her birthday.
I would like to tactfully ask for people to participate in that.. even just $10 or gift, etc.
I need ideas and help for wording on invite.

I would go with this option
I personally would never show up to a kids party without a gift; so saying your presence is present enough, I would still bring a gift and then wouldn't know it got donated
Even writing that, I would still expect that you get gifts at the party bc its a 2 year old

Invitation - 2nd birthday, no gifts .. help!
A couple of years ago my daughter donated all of the gifts to Birthday Wishes of Long Island. I put a card in with the invite that said something like she has requested no presents for herself, but to please bring a gift to donate to the organization. Everyone brought a gift to donate, it was great! one parent sent a gift for her also, which wasn't necessary of course!
