Favorite outside playtoy for toddlers

For my niece's 1st birthday I wanted to get an outside toy she'll use a lot. She turned 1 in March. Since they were moving we waited to get her anything. They are out the house now with a big backyard. My boys are older so I have some outside toys we are going to give them like a grill, step 2 slide and some other things.
Originally I was going to get her this

BBQ toy

It's really cute, but wasn't sure how long she'd use it. I figured maybe a picnic table since she'll have some stuff and the picnic table will get use a long time. My boys are older and still use their picnic table. It's a wood one that came with the swingset. Thoughts on this one.

She already got a kitchen and water table as gifts so she doesn't need that.

I really like the playtime patio set -- it provides shade if their backyard doesn't have much and incorporates water and sand play. I would run it past the parents though if they have limited space in their yard because it looks big.

My 4 year old still plays a lot with her water table (http://a.co/iseflQU)! The umbrella is great for shade, too.

Does the baby have a cozy coupe/play car?

I think either are great! My niece is going to be 4 this year and still loves those play houses/kitchens/etc. I think she'll get a lot of use out of either. The only thing is the BBQ toy probably takes up a lot more space- will they have room?

I also think the cozy coupe or the 3-in-1 trikes are great! DD loves both and she turned 1 in April.



ETA: She also has this wagon, we use it for the beach and just took it to the Bronx zoo. It was perfect!

Best outdoor toys IMO are the little houses and the push cars.

Def check with the mom. I'd be livid if someone bought me something huge for my backyard without checking!

Thanks all. The reason we held off is bc they bought a new house in NJ with a big backyard.

I will run it all by her first and see what she wants us to get her.

I think a cozy coupe will get the most use. My son at 3 still loves his.

Cozy coupe and the pushcart are still hits (dd is 4.5). We still use the picnic table as well.

They also love the step2 roller coaster.

My sons love the step 2 wagon. Does she have a swing? The water table is also a big hit.
