Computer people- there has to be a way to do this

I googled and can't find out how.

I need to digitally sign a lot of documents lately.

It's super annoying because you have to click digitally sign, put in a password, and then it adds you digital signature and then you have to save the signed document. Then I can send it to the person who needs it.

I made a folder in my documents to put all these digitally signed docs.

The issue is, every time I go to sign a new one and go to save, it automatically defaults me to a location and i have to go find that folder through like 4 different locations (like i have to go to documents, my documents, pdfs, then the folder is there)

Is there a way to make it default to that folder when I go to save so all i have to do is click save and not go through 4 sub locations to get there?

I have to do this with a ton of docs at once and it's just tedious and time consuming to be clicking through so many locations to get to the damn folder i need to save it in.

What application are you using? The default folder is configured by the program. Some programs default to the last folder you used (which is what you want in this case), or a pre-determined folder.

Few things.

1. I also googled the question and came up with this: This is answer is half way down the post.

go to edit -> preference -> general. Then uncheck "show online storage when saving files". All done and enjoy!

2. I would install "cute PDF writer". Once that is installed you can "print" the original PDF in reader. The print to "Cute PDF" will then allow you to save to any location your heart desires.

Also. I have not watched this video but the title looks promising.

Lastly, you might not be googling the RIGHT question. I put "change default save location for adobe reader".
