Just curious- who should be seen first?
I had a Dr. appointment at 3:45. Arrived at 3:35. Person who signed in before me signed in at 3:30 for a 4:00 appointment. Which one of us should be seen first?

You - you were early for your appointment and your appointment was first.
The opposite situation happened to me once and I was furious - the time of my appointment wasn't ideal for me but, it was what it was... If i had known I'd be seen right away if I showed up 30 minutes early I would have.

You def! But i used to work in a drs office. Sometimes drs are slow or just want to bring the patients back to get done faster.

This sounds like my old OB/GYN. They used to do that all the time and then I'd end up sitting waiting forever.

Should be you, if you're both seeing the same doctor, you need the same type of room, etc.

Were they seeing the same doctor as you?
Only ask because at my OBGYN there are 4 of them and one doctor takes one after another, while another seems like forever.

Yes, we were both seeing the same Dr. it's my PC, so not a specialty practice, so no "special" treatment rooms etc. I know the other person was seeing the same Dr because I heard one of the office staff say that we were both here to see Dr A.

I wonder if you went to my OB/GYN. This has happened to me there numerous times and it makes my blood boil. I'm not the type to complain but I'm thinking I have to.

oh are you at my pediatrician... they take WALK INS before appts depending on when they arrive.
we pitched a fit to the dr i think it's been corrected since...
