High Chair Dilemma

Ever since Noah has learned to arch his back and scream, he has been doing this while in the pram, when I pick him up and now, his speciality is in the high chair, where he screams and shouts and refuses to eat until I undo the straps and let him play with them. So my question is this, do I scrap the fabulous Chicco Polly and spend another £50 for something thats wooden, like a babydan high chair, or is this just some kind of phase he is going through. OH, also, he won't wear a bib, so that a bloody palaver and a half...

So ladies, is it just a phase, do I keep feeding him on the floor and making a mess, or do I swallow the bullet and buy a wooden one, which I think he might like better.

Answers on a postcard please!
