Jones Beach Air Show

How early do you need to get down there Saturday in order to not be stuck on the parkways and get parking in the lots? Also whats it like leaving after the show....how long should I expect to sit in traffic on the way out? TIA!!

We went 2 years ago and left at 7am and hit no traffic at all. After it was over we hung out another hour maybe, parking lot was empty by then and we drove right out.

It's a long day, but worth it to not sit in traffic.

Thanks...you left at 7 but I think the show used to start at 10? This year it's at 12 so I guess I'll figure 3 hours early?

I would still get there early because Sat is looking to be the only nice day.

I would leave around 8am a little traffic but you should still be okay.

8 am...so 4 hours before the show you think? This is going to be a long day!!

I go every year we live out east so if your closer you don't have to leave as early, but I feel like we leave at like 830-9. I don't know why I can't ever remember the exact time we left last year... but one year we left at like 10 and we almost didn't make it because of the traffic.
