Local Weekend Get Away
Hi all..
I'm looking to plan my best friend's 40th. Like most of us she could really use a night (or two!) away to relax..
Does anyone have suggestions where we could go for a night or two over the summer that won't require a 3 night minimum? An onsite spa would be ideal... There could be a group of us so somewhere that could accommodate a group..
Somewhere on LI would be ideal since we don't want to be stuck in crazy traffic but open to ideas..

Thanks! I thought of there but I'm sure they have a 3 night minimum. I don't think our husbands would go for that LOL

East Wind has a spa now too but I haven't/don't know anyone who's stayed there.

Local Weekend Get Away
What about staying in the city for a night or 2? You could go to a spa during the day, have a great dinner at night, shop.

I suggested that but she's not much of a city person.. and to be honest I'm in the city every day I'm glad to not come in if I don't have to LOL ... Posted by JME78

Yes, LOVE the villas. They are recently remodeled too so ask for a remodeled room when you book. You have our own kitchenette etc. I like the duplex ones better because you have a bedroom and bath upstairs in a loft and alittle more room. The other ones are just a studio room and then the kitchen.
The spa is amazing! They have different packages that include a spa treatment and dinner at their restaurant.
my friends and I have gone twice and are planning our next trip. It is a 5 minutes ride to Mohegan Sun too.

We did the duplex villa, each has 2 queen beds so it hold 4 people. The last time we went with 6 girls so we did two rooms next to each other.
