Anyone have an 'air cooler' type thing for small rooms?

Portable A/C units. You still need to use the window for the hose.

We have central air, but it's still hot in my bedroom, and I like it really cool in the Summer. So I have a portable unit that sits on the floor. I still have a screen on my window, and about 5 inches of the window is obstructed with the panel and the hose. It works great!
ETA I have the "Commerical Cool" brand that is 14k BTU. This is my third year with it, and it's great. It has a remote control, timers, auto thermostat, etc.
