Re: Window AC

Friedrich is a reliable brand.

I have a Friedrich Kuhl thru the wall in my living room. Can't remember what is in the bedrooms, I think Friedrich also.

Re: Window AC

I haven't shopped for window AC units for a long time now, so I don't have any brand recommendations.

However, I just wanted to mention that whatever brand you get, make sure you get one with a digital thermostat, not just a number level.

If you have a unit that you can set to 72, it will stay at that temp (within reason), no matter what the ambient temp is. If you have a unit that you set to "Level 4", it may feel great during the day, but will be super cold overnight.

Use an on-line calculator to figure out the room size and what size unit you'll need. You want one with a little more capacity than the room you're putting it in.
