Ugh too much last year. Went to the dollar store and filled a beach pail with all kinds of summer stuff (sidewalk chalk, bubbles, glow sticks, etc) then ordered customer labels for water bottles and it all just added up after a while.
This year I want to go to Five Below and get like a beach towel or something- trying to keep it to $5 per kid

How much do you spend on bday party favors?
I've done goody bags or small buckets filled with snacks, glow bracelets, tattoos, etc which probably adds up. I've also done one more significant item and spent probably $3-5.

It depends, if I just get a small nice thing $5 each, but if I pretend like I'm going to try and save money buying little things, I end up spending $7-$9 each. So I now ask my kids to pick 1 thing out and give them a range of $4-$6.

for Dd i spent about $4 per favor
DS's favors and they are coming out to about $2.50 each

around $5. I've always started with the intent to be a little less but always add one more thing at the end. Although i think DD this time because of various coupons and stuff is coming out to like $3.

It depends. I spent more on the 1st birthdays and also on the amount of kids. We did towels from BBB for one birthday that was about $6 - $7 each, but there was about 10 kids. We did $3 for a party giving out water shooters when it was DS's entire class of 17 and a few other friend's kids. If there are a lot of kids something small, but useful and smaller parties spend more.

I think this year I ended up spending close to $7 on each party and I had to get 20-25 of them!!

Way too much, but I'm abnormal lol. Our last party the girls got a sewing machine, the stuff they made at the party, a sewing kit, a personalized placemat, sewing accessories, a take home sewing project, AND picked prizes from the prize table after an egg hunt! BUT, in the end, was still cheaper than having it at the sewing studio!
