Toys R Us Gift Receipts

Do they purposely not put the product description or UPC on the gift receipt so that parents who have just had a big birthday party for their child will lose their minds?? I tried to keep things on the package, but some gifts she is keeping part of the gift and not another item so its impossible to know which gift receipt goes with which item. Cant they put some sort of identifying code on it?? I wrote an email to corporate also but just needed to rant and see if I'm the only one who thinks this is on purpose??

It's done that way b/c technically everything the gift giver purchased is on that receipt, along with your girl. So I go and buy 5 gifts and get 5 gift receipts and just stick 1 on each gift. It's not a 1:1 match.

I don't like it either. I try to remember to write a description before I attach it to a gift. Toys r us can tell you what is on the receipt. But, it's only in their system for 90 days, so don't wait.

They are the worst. I was just yelling at the cashier b/c a gc did not match the receipt. So stupid. I think the time expired for me to exchange it.
I was told in the store, they have to scan the receipt then each item. If it matches it will come up. I had so many items at Xmas to exchange. I just bought them all and put them through hell lmao. It's so bad but their policy is stupid. Put it on the damn receipt. Who cares what else they bought. Just put th UPC codes. Target puts a description, or don1 receipt per item. I hate them and the children's place. Both awful places and I try to not shop them.
