My dd had an emoji bday party for her 6th bday this yr. we got each kid a fleece emoji blanket from the store five below. $5 each and all the kids lives them

Best birthday favor your child has received?
My daughters pool party, we gave away beach towels and those water spraying tube things! They were a hit!
I have also given each kid a $5 Baskin Robbins gift card for a sundae. I like useful things!

We got superhero capes/masks from a party, and it was such a hit that for dd's fairy-themed party, we gave out fairy wings.
We also once got a beach bucket with dd's name written on it.
Another hit was a curious george book (curious george themed party). I've given book favors too. Lol, realizing now what a copycat I am!

Anything that was gone in no more than a day  
In all honesty though I shouldn't talk crap cause I give stuff that inst gone quickly I think this year I will be midnful of that.
Anyway I have been doing cookies made in theme of the party.
I did get a beach towel once and i think goggles I am sure ended up in the trash a little while after I got them I still have the towel can't have too many towels IMO but I am sure others feel differently
DD once from a school part got a gift card to dunkin donuts that was nice nothing to "keep" .

Jars of classic candy
All were used and then discarded (except the books).
I'm not into favors though.

DS2 just got a superhero mask and Cape this weekend from a birthday party. Each child got a different color. He absolutely loved it and insisted on wearing it to daycare this morning.

Bubble wands and kites
The mini lego sets
glider planes (for boys) and piggie polish for girls
This year I think I am doing books because we've gotten them recently and i liked it

Sweet Frog gift card was a good one
But to be hoenst, what I like as a favor and what she likes is a much different thing!
She loves getting a bag o crap- mini nailpolish, dollar store lip balms in cute containers, small toys, slime, candy, etc
I prefer the other stuff because it's less clutter in my house!

For my girls' first Birthday I had water bottles made cutom for each child from Etsy. It had their names and a theme based on characters or sports they each individually like. They were a big hit!
This year we are doing personalized beach pails and shovels!
