We're staying here when we go to Dutch Wonderland in July with our 2.5 year old.
Should we get the breakfast buffet? My DS likes simple things like pancakes, muffins, bagels. Is there another option for breakfast?

Re: Eden Resort
Buffets skeeve me and I like to just order off the a la Carte breakfast menu and be served my meal . So.we just eat at the restaurant for breakfast but don't do the buffet. To me a buffet is a waste of money too because I never eat enough to make it worth it We don't like to go off site because we just want to eat really quick and head out. I like the onsite restaurant for convenience. I won't eat dinner there- the food is awful- but for breakfast it is more than fine

We usually eat breakfast at a restaurant outside of the resort - like Bob Evans for something.

We brought bagels, cereal, milk, oatmeal, yogurt and ate in the room. We had a villa.

Re: Eden Resort
There is a really nice grocery store very close to eden. We bought a box of cereal and milk and the kids had that. the grocery store even has a coffee bar and they make good sandwiches

We thought the breakfast was worth it. The food was good and I believe kids under 3 eat free. If you book it ahead of time I think you get a few dollars off. It was convenient to be able to get up and go eat at the hotel. They had pancakes, muffins, cereal, eggs etc so it was perfect for us.

OMG I am not one to be picky usually when I am in a place like that but it is pretty much inedible in the park. The only saving grace is Subway I guess. I eat a lot of stuff others find gross, like McD's, any and all fast food, KFC, etc... but even I couldn't stomach the food in that park
HORRENDOUS
They need a major food overhaul

I thought it was fine too for a buffet. We ate a big breakfast there so we didn't need much more than a snack at the park in the afternoon.

We eat at the restaurant in Eden usually. The food isn't bad and it's very convenient. We've done Miller's for breakfast and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't anything special.

This is what we do. I hate paying a lot of money for breakfast food.
