Easter Sunday
We are going to an easter bunny breakfast on Sat the 15th, but don't have any plans for easter sunday. The weather is looking really nice for that day, so we are thinking of driving out to suffolk for the day and doing something. I'm from nassau, so I have no idea what places to go to, or what's even open. We are open to anything, but prefer to maybe get lunch somewhere by the bay or the sound, and somewhere we can just walk around for a bit and stay outdoors. We would be willing to drive out by Jamesport/Riverhead, but don't really want to go much further out than that. It will be me, dh, dd, and my mom.
If anyone from suffolk has some ideas please share :)
Update: My brother is now coming with his dog, but bayard doesn't allow any pets. Any ideas on dog friendly places?

The Bayard Cutting Arboretum would be exactly what your looking for. There's a mansion you can tour (or not if you have los), beautiful walking trails, and a little cafe where you can order food and eat on the deck overlooking the Connetquot River.

This sounds perfect. I just called and they'll be open that day- It's supposed to be a beautiful day, so i hope it stays that way!
ETA: Can I use my stroller on the walking trails, or would I need to use my ergo?

I think you can bring your stroller I was there a while ago and I remember strollers but you can always call and ask! Or bring both just in case!

You can definitely bring strollers, but just to warn you some of the paths have rocks, so it may be difficult to navigate with the stroller, especially down by the water.

Gardiner's Park on Montauk Highway in Bay Shore. There's a path down to the beach.
