Sesame Place with 15 month old?

Our friends/family with kids are planning a trip to Sesame Place in July and I'm just not sure if it's worth it for us to go. DD will be just 15 months at the time. Is there stuff for her to do or should we just wait til she's a little older?

I would look at the ride height requirements...I remember my niece came with us when she was almost 2 and she couldn't go on a lot.

I guess I figured she couldn't go on a lot of the rides.. but was wondering more if the pools/splash areas and meeting the characters would be worth it for her? She does love her some Elmo. Chat Icon

I would go. We went when dd2 was only 10 months and she loved it. More for the characters than rides obviously. We had breakfast with the characters and she loved the three shows and parade

I would go then, the parade is super cute and makes it worth the trip anyway

Thank you!! She is obsessed with Sesame Street so that's why I wanted to go. I've actually never been! So it's new to me, too. Chat Icon

IMO, not worth it for parades and splash area. I was not a fan of the splash area at all.

Wait until the end of the summer. I think a walker can go on a fair amount of rides when accompanied with a parent.

We took DS when he was 14 months and had a great time. He absolutely loved the Elmo show. It was nice taking him at a young age because we were able to take it at a leisurely pace.

We also went during Halloween which was a fun time of year to go.

It could be fun. An option we used once was getting the twilight ticket- I think you could only enter after 3 pm but it was quite a bit cheaper. Our first trip was a disaster- but we had free passes because SIL's neighbor worked there (they live nearby).

Using the twilight ticket worked out well because the park was starting to clear a little and it was less crowded. We stayed till closing and had great seats at all the shows. DD definitely enjoyed that visit a lot more.
