And left a small crater in my driver's side door in the parking lot near CVS: karma is a roaring b!tch.

The one on Broadway? Or Penninsula?
The one on Broadway has such a tight lot. That, combined with people having no regard....

Broadway. I was in the municipal lot next to CVS' lot. There's plenty of room in that one. People are really jerkoffs.

Yeah totally. The worst is the lot in Hewlett with The Pizza Place and Starbucks. I walked in there about a year ago saying to myself that there's gojng to be an accident in that lot one day bc everyone in that tight space forget how to drive... Sure enough that very day while I was waiting for my drink, someone rear ended someone else everyone at Starbucks heard the boom.

So sorry. I feel your pain. Its gotten so bad with incidents like this that I now take a pic of the car parked next to me license plate. Just in case they leave paint behind with the dent.

I feel your pain. Someone rubbed my back bumper yesterday and now I have a big scrape. So frustrating, but I've come to accept that as part of parking anywhere that isn't totally isolated.

yep. also the Trader Joe's lot is pretty much a bumper car amusement park ride.

ugh. well i can def relate.
and not just parking. my brother's gf told me she was on the Cross Bronx and was in traffic and bumped from behind. the girl changed lanes and drove off. my brother's gf KNEW who it was (they work in the same building!!!) and got the license plate, went in to work the next day and confronted the nut who said "oh i bump cars all the time its just part of driving in the city". She also went to the boss to inform them of the situation as well.
Honestly that's people's attitude. It's NYC so it's all a bumper car ride.
She's paying for the damages. She probably can't believe she just bumped the wrong person and didn't get away with it (again).
