Something to do tomorrow

I took off tomorrow and want to do something with DD
I think it's supposed to be nice out so maybe something outdoors? Any places in Suffolk have a nice playground or places to walk etc?
I'm drawing a blank

Argyle Park in Babylon is a nice place to walk. They have a lake and playground. Then you can stop for lunch in the village. Same thing with Hecksher Park in Huntington.

Caumsett Park, the boardwalk, and Bethpage Park bike trail are a few of my other favorites.

Northport Village has a really cute park and a bakery across the street and then you can walk along Main Street. It's so cute over there.

There's the boardwalk to the fire island lighthouse. Captree has a good play ground.

If anyone is looking for something to do...go to Cupsogue, walk down onto the outer beach (bayside) and check out the seals playing! Yesterday they were everywhere and we even got to see a snowy owl up close!

Are we able to walk down to the beach to see the seals independently? Looked this up on the web and it says that reservations are required for the seal watching tours...

I'd love to just go take a walk with the kids to check it out if we could?? Thanks for the great suggestion.

I go to montauk without a tour... I'm assuming cupsogue would be the same. You just have to know where to go exactly.

You just park in the parking lot and walk. There have been lots of people down there...you could just follow them or ask for help getting down to a good spot.

Thanks?? Think I may head there today. Any particular time that's better? Curious if I should head over early or in the later afternoon.

Thanks, love new little trips!
