Should I start to worry? (possible TMI)
I have been spotting on & off in small amounts since Sat. Fri - positive test & attempt to BD - 1st spotting showed next day. Sun light spotting w/ mild cramping - Mon went to Dr & got exam. Spotting mildly afterwards & cramping subsiding. Tues- spotting turned from brown to red but only once at night & no clots. Today - Brown spotting very little - just has more heavy pinkish-brownish spotting.
I am still waiting for my blood test results - should I call my Gyn?
Thanks!
ETA: I am not having any other symptoms..only small bouts of nausea & then the cramping that went away. Am I being paranoid?

I would call..but you said you BD'd, right? It could have been from that too...your cervix has a lot of extra blood when you are pregnant. call just to ease your mind....Wishing you lots of luck!! Keep us posted

Re: When should I start to worry (possible TMI)
Ok I did a little research & here is something interesting. I get chronic yeast infections, so this caught my eye. I have a call in with my Dr. so let's see what she says. I thought someone else might find this helpful, too.
"One fairly harmless cause of bleeding is cervicitis, an inflammation due to infection, often caused by a common yeast infection. A simple prescription or over-the-counter cream can quickly take care of it.
"Cervicitis is a condition in which the delicate cells at the mouth of the womb, the cervix, bleed for one of three reasons: 1) the mechanical action of intercourse, 2) an alteration in the acidity in the vagina (pH), or 3) the effects of infections on the cells in the cervix. With the hormonal changes of pregnancy, the fragile cells inside the cervix peek out a bit onto the exterior and are exposed to the vagina. The vagina is a harsher environment for these cells. Usually nestled more deeply away from sexual activity, they now can be easily damaged, which can cause bleeding. Of course, this cervical bleeding is merely what you’d consider spotting. There is usually only bleeding with sex when you have a condition like cervicitis.
"Both the common yeast infection and common Bacterial Vaginosis can also cause bleeding. Bacterial Vaginosis is a harmless infection, but has been linked to a possible increase in risk of preterm labor later on. A microscopic evaluation can diagnose both these infections. Pills and antibiotic gel easily get rid of them."
