How did/do you prepare formula for your newborn/infant?
How did you prepare formula for your newborn/infant?
What kind of water? Did you boil? Power or ready to feed formula?

Re: How did/do you prepare formula for your newborn/infant?
Ready to feed: I just opened the bottle & poured Formula: I used regular water from the tap (ours is very good quality) and put in the right number of scoops of powder. This is very easy while traveling (I would use bottled water for those times).

Powder, with tap water run through the Brita. I left it on the countertop and refilled as necessary.

Re: How did/do you prepare formula for your newborn/infant?
I used powder, with tap water run through the PUR filter. I put it in a pitcher and left it on the countertop. I would fill it up as necessary

How did/do you prepare formula for your newborn/infant?
Bottled water, room temp, add powder. I never made them ahead of time because I wanted them to be room temp and did not want to have to waste time warming them up. Overnight I would just leave a bottle on the counter with the water measured out so I didn't have to bother doing that while half asleep. We stopped using bottled water around 6 months or so and just used tap.

How did/do you prepare formula for your newborn/infant?
First 6 months I would use nursery water. Ready to feed for first month then switched to powdered when I ran out. Never boiled. I used the tommee tippee microwave steamer.

Re: How did/do you prepare formula for your newborn/infant?
Powder: weused room temp bottled water
Rtf: we ran the bottle under hot water for a bit if the formula was from the fridge.
Dd1 we used powder. She was on rx formula that only came that way. For dd2, she'd spit up every time we tried powder, so we had to use rtf.

How did/do you prepare formula for your newborn/infant?
DD was on powder formula and we used filtered water from our Brita pitcher. We found it mixed better when the water was room temp so we always kept the pitcher out on the counter.
