Vera Bradley pattern
I wanted to buy a makeup bag for one of my daughters teachers. Do you think this pattern is nice for a 20something yr old teacher who I would say is "fashion fwd" or is it boring?
ETA; i dont want it to look old and farty lol
Coming from someone who feels old and farty lol

Re: Vera Bradley pattern
I dunno what a 20something year old might say, but this 39 year old likes it! I think it's a really nice pattern. I have a friend who is 32 and a teacher - I can see her liking this. Close enough lol

I like VB, but I personally don't care for that pattern. I'm 40 though lol.

I don't love this pattern, but I love her newest Cuban patterns. There is a floral pattern and a stamp pattern that are so awesome.

I hate trying to think of what color or style someone may like.
I could always opt for a giftcard but really wanted something specific lol

I would not buy Vera Bradley at all for someone who is fashion forward.
I just find Vera Bradley on the cutting edge.

I tend to agree. I think they are kind of...frumpy.... sorry. However if I was gifted that in a make up bag I'd use it- because it's just for make up and I wouldn't be carrying it around in public like a purse or tote bag

Yeah, I was thinking VB may not be good for a tote for a hip person but I thought for a makeup bag it would be different.
Any brand that is similar but "cooler"?

Re: Vera Bradley pattern
I'm not crazy about Vera Bradley.
But as a make up bag I wouldn't care. It's not like it's a tote that would be seen all the time. It would be thrown in my tote or travel bag.

This. I think it's ok for a makeup bag.

I don't think Vera Bradley is fashion forward or even in fashion at all, I find it to be frumpy. That being said, there are a few patterns that I'd like for makeup bag, or a change purse, things like that. For a mekup bag that isn't really going to be seen, I think it's fine.

Re: Vera Bradley pattern
Not a fan of the pattern or color combo. Not even as a makeup bag. If I got that as a gift I'd appreciate the thought but wouldn't use it and would give it away. Sorry just being honest.

I have a LeSportSac makeup bag that I've had for probably 10 years, so I got it in my early 20's. It still looks new. Not sure if thats still considered "cool" though.

Re: Vera Bradley pattern
I'm not sure 20-something year olds are so into Vera Bradley. I think it's okay because it is a makeup bag and not really seen. If you want to do more fashion-forward, you could always get an inexpensive piece of jewelry from Stell & dot or bauble bar.

Not really my style. You better off going to outlets and getting a cute Kate spade makeup bag or something like that. Probably be less money too.

I am not a Vera Bradley person at all but I happen to like her makeup bags because they are washable. I don't think this pattern is terrible but she does have some that are solid black.
If you want to give her something specific and not a gift card, pick up a Vera Bradley (or another make up case) form Macy's and give a gift receipt. This way if she doesn't like it she can exchange it.
