Ordering Alcohol/wine online
I am over 21, but just wondering, If a person under the age of 21 orders wine from say, amazon. How do they verify the person ordering is over 21? I know it asks that question when ordering, but when it is delivered does someone over 21 have to sign? or do they just deliver and leave at doorstep?

Someone over 21 has to sign. I just ordered from wine.com and I had this happen.

Yes someone over 21 must be home and sign for it when it arrives.

Someone over 21 is supposed to sign. They've never checked IDs and once my brother even said I'm not over 21 and they said meh it's fine.

When I order beer from peapod they have taken my drivers license number. But I feel like they don't do that any more but I had to sign a slip.
UPS needs a signature. I know you can not sign the paper and leave it there. They want a physical signature.
